Apart from our own
airfield with three grass runways, we have the use of a variety of sites
in the surrounding area, which adds greater variety and wider experience to your
training.
Full services for microlight owners are offered: check flights, aircraft inspections and repairs, aircraft sales, storage, hangarage and fuel.
The school offers flying tuition with highly qualified instructors on both Flexwing and 3-axis aircraft, from complete novice to NPPL[M]; ground school, lectures, examinations and conversion courses.
The school’s CFI has over 25 years experience as a flying instructor and a wide knowledge of many form of aviation. He has a PPL[A], Commercial Pilot’s Licence [Hot-Air Balloons] and was for several years a gliding instructor.
There is an attractive clubhouse where meals and refreshments are served, a pilot shop supplying everything for the flyer and enthusiast. There are camping facilities and self-catering accommodation on site, and a holiday cottage on the farm. Bed and breakfast is available in the village, where there is a Michelin 'Bib Gourmand ' pub .
We operate all the year round, every day except Monday—weather permitting.
